Hotel Shiv Niwas Palace is situated on the southern end of the Ctiy Palace Complex in Udaipur. The hotel Shiv Niwas Palace was originally the residence of Maharana Fateh Singhji. The rooms around the courtyard were used as a place for entertaining personal guests. Shiv Niwas Palace was the vision of the Maharana Bhagwat Singhji Mewar, which led to its conversion into a luxury hotel. Now this palace has been categorised as a grand heritage hotel in Udaipur.
