There are 29 elegantly appointed rooms in the Hotel
Rohetgarh. These rooms have their own individual
character and furnishings. Most of them are
air-conditioned and have attached bathrooms with
modern facilities.
History of Rohetgarh:
The Hotel Rohetgarh was the fortified desert home of
the descendants of the 16th century Rathore of the
Champawat clan, Thakur Dalpat Singh I. The "Jagir" of
Rohetgarh was bestowed upon him in 1622 AD by the
Maharaja Of Jodhpur, as a mark of appreciation for his
bravery in battle. Later, this palace was used by the
generations of valiant noble-men as a heritage home.

restaurant in the Hotel Rohetgarh serves the
Indian, Continental and
Chinese cuisine.
Facilities:
Hotel Rohetgarh has pioneered a unique tour, which
introduces its guests to local cultures and
traditions. Because of the host family's special bond
with different communities, the guests are taken into
homes and received with warmth and affection. Here,
the guests can interact with various communities
living in the area and share and understand their
world. Some of these communities are the Bishnois,
protectors of nature and the world's first ecologists,
responsible for the survival of the black-buck
antelope; the semi nomadic Raika shepherds of Marwar
known for their brilliant crimson and marigold
costumes; Paliwals, the farmers and Meghwals, the
weavers. Besides this, the guests can also see the
traditional folk ceremonies and village artisans at
work creating leather articles, pottery and woven
handicrafts. The hotel also make arrangements for
horse riding, horse safari, camel safari, picnic.
There is also a beautifully designed swimming pool
with four charming pavilions at each corner where
musicians and folk dancers perform in the evening as
dinner is served by the poolside. The other services
are telephone, laundry and doctor on call.
