Accommodation :
There are about 60 rooms in the Hotel Desert Resort.
Each cottage and room is furnished in a distinctive
style. The exteriors are decorated with traditional
lime-paste “MANDANA” or rice-flour patterns which are
redone daily by women from the village, while the
interiors are ornamented with mirror-work and glass
beads in myriad colours. Each cottage has a sitting
room and a spacious bathroom, complimented by woven
fabric and hand-made pottery. Apart from the cottages,
guests can choose to stay in the spacious deluxe suites.
Facilities:
The facilities in the Hotel Desert Resort include a conference room, billiard and
pool room, swimming pool, badminton, croquet, table
tennis, an Ayurvedic massage centre and bar. The resort
also organizes traditional welcome with tilak and
garlands, theme weddings, gala evenings, sand dune
dinners, camel, horse and jeep rides or safaris, nature
trails, puppet shows, folk dances and also a heritage
walk of Mandawa.
Restaurants :
Authentic Rajasthani cuisine served in traditional
earthenware make dining a gastronomic delight.
The dinning room is ornamented with mirror-work and glass beads. Meals are also served in the open where guests can
enjoy the charm of the desert entertained by local
