History:
Rao Karamsiji who was the eight prince of Rao Jodhaji (the founding Maharaja of Jodhpur) established his royal dynasty at Khimsar. Khimsar was one of the premier chieftains of Marwar and also the head house of the Karamsot Rathors. Rao Karamsiji constructed this fort in 1523 A.D in Khimsar in the Jodhpur region. The battle scarred walls and turrets reminds of the glorious past of the fort.

Location:
